I once read that Joshua Trees do not follow a yearly blooming schedule; they bloom sporadically, depending on rainfall and temperature, making their flowering pattern somewhat unpredictable. And yet, they are the prize of the Mojave Desert, with hundreds of thousands of people traveling every year to take in their beauty.
