And even after you have found the one you want to grow old with for the rest of your days, I hope you continue to find new ways to show your love. I hope you kiss their face every morning and thank God and the universe for them before you close your eyes every night. I hope you take the time to pour their coffee, laugh at their jokes, and listen to the stories about their day. Take the time to walk together. And talk together. And uncover bits of their soul that you may not have noticed before. Try the new restaurant, the movie, the book recommendation. Take the trip. Carve out the time. Continue to date one another — long after the wedding day. Keep the promises that you make, and choose one another every single day. And when the road gets rocky, as roads inevitably do, I hope you slow down and find a way through — together.
