Resolutions

We wait until January
To make big plans and promises,
To start eating better and drinking more water,
and taking more time
to stand in the sun
and sit with whom we love;
but really, afternoons can also hold a new chapter,
and there is Christmas in July,
and showers can work wonders,
and there’s an opportunity to start fresh
every
single
morning.
