The Sting Of Salt Water

Sometimes, healing is uncomfortable

When I was younger, my eczema was terrible, and so my mother would tell me to go into the ocean whenever I had the chance. She’d recount the healing properties of salt water and gently nudge me to take a dip in the sea.

I’d cringe and tell her that it was going to sting.
