To Stop And Smell The Roses

A poem

I hope you stop to smell the roses,
and the morning coffee as it makes its way into your room,
and how the bacon sizzles on a Saturday, too.

I hope you stop to smell the kiss of summer in the air,
or how you know it’s going to snow before the first flake
hits the ground.
