Today Is Going To Be The Day

You finally put that pile of clean laundry away. And start drinking more water. And clean the gutters. It’s the day you open the first book on your to-be-read pile and sit down and actually read it. And clean out that closet. And scrub the bathtub. And donate all the toys the kids don’t play with anymore. Today is going to be the day you send the email. The text. The letter that has been stirring within you for far too long. It’s the day you hit send on that application. Say “yes” to accepting more help. More love. More light. The day you stop making excuses for yourself or others. Today is going to be the day that you will look in the mirror and forgive yourself for your mistakes. The day you celebrate the strides you have taken to bring you to this point. The moment you decide that happiness is something you deserve — and something you’re allowed to choose, too.
